If you want fast indexing of edu pdf, just uploading isn’t enough. Make sure they’re linked from a crawlable page, add them in your sitemap, and then push with tools like Gsc Inspect, pinging, or even tier 2 links. Edu files usually get trust from google, so with a few backlinks they index pretty quick. No major changes in Xml sitemap generators, it works the same as for normal pages.

To index PDF files from .edu sites in Google, make sure the PDFs are crawlable, linked from relevant pages, and added to your XML sitemap. There’s no major change in sitemap generators, just include the direct PDF URLs.

link the pdf from your own pbn sites, and use google inspection tool to index the pbn page manually.
also, you can use some free/paid indexing tools but now-a-days the indexing rate has fallen below 30%. That is if you send paid links, only 3 out of 10 could be indexed. Try indexjump. rest I've tried don't work. avoid "indexing expert."

Spam links and/or backlinks from Google-news enabled websites (which you then request indexing of via GSC) seem to be the most effective for pdf parasites, but as they can be extremely volatile the Google-news option is probably best.

You just need to make sure your PDF files are crawlable, linked internally, and included in your sitemap — Google can index PDFs the same way it does web pages.

The poster you quoted is banned, they won't be replying. But to get your pdfs indexed the main thing you need to do is to link to them. If the pdf is on your own site, link to it from pages that seem appropriate, and make sure it's location is not blocked in robots.txt. If the pdf is on a third party site, make sure it's indexable in the first place (check the site's robots.txt, and do a site: search for the directory that the pdf is in to see if other pdfs are being indexed), then build some links to it.

To force indexing, ensure the PDF is linked from at least 3 high-authority pages on the host domain to boost its internal signal.

To index .edu PDFs, make sure the PDFs are public, add metadata, link from HTML pages, and submit an XML sitemap; sitemap generators still work as usual.
