So I've made a Shopify just to experiment with dropshipping, but my conversion rate seems to be only 1%. Ive had 116 views on a certain item, 35 adds to the checkout cart but only 2 orders. Is this good or bad? The product is 11.99. If it is not good, is there anyway I can increase my conversion rate?

That's 2%. Anyways, there's always room for improvement. Tweak your store, new theme, apps plugins, test test and test!

It's hard to say without knowing what the website slow looks like, your traffic source, what the product is, etc... Optimizing any one of those could help with conversions.

116 views is pretty low to determine your conversion rate since numbers can vary day by day. I would wait for 1,000 to get a better idea and consistent conversion rate to go with.

Hey,
One advice : to recover this conversion rate, find something to get email of these persons.. Then e-mail them with mail chimp for example with a product with an offer they cannot miss(you should get very low profit on this items but its better than nothing), after that buys, show related product : The client has already bought something and put his credit card, he may also buy other things now.

Its just a marketing strategy, for sure it depends on your product.

Will do! I researched it and I went with Klaviyo instead of MailChimp because it looked cleaner on Shopify, do you think I should use MailChimp anyway?
