How to increase domain authority ? Is that important ?

HI,

I don't know maybe it's stupid question or not ,,but i will ask it anyway

I was searching in google for some new niches so i see around 60% of the sites which #1 when i checked it in Ahrefs.com it have not much Backlinks maybe 200 or 300 maximum,Ok i think it's (HQ backlinks-301 redirect ) ok but when i check the domain authority i see it's 50,60 and the normal domain authority is just 1 , so i really don't how to increase domain authority and also it that important for ranking or not ?

It's quite simple, and indeed evident from your question alone - if you want to increase your DA, send some high authority links at it!

Ignore these crazy metrics.

The thing that will improve DA is the exact same thing that will improve your ranking. A great easy to use website, with high quality content and lots of high quality links built to it.

Also its possible ahrefs just has not put a real score to your website because of its lack data for your website. Give it some more time.

Write great content with information that is latest and from reliable source. Soon, people from your niche will start linking to your web pages if they are worth it.

yes,i think you need high pr links with unique domains to improve your ranking .

Get as many high quality / contextual PR links with high PA/DA as possible!

Quick hack will also be to register the domain for the max allowed time usually 10 years.
It will show up on your whois and are parsed by google.

as everyone already said, get QUALITY backlinks with high DA. it'll take some time to reflect changes in your DA coz moz is slow as shit!
