DA is one of the pointless metrics in the world of IM. It's literally just number of backlinks, put into a smaller number. Nothing else. If I have just one referring domain with a sitewide link and thus my metrics are RD 1 and 5000 backlinks, my DA will be over the roof. Will it be inflated artificially and completely unreliable? Yes. As I said, pointless. If you want higher DA, just spam your site. The more backlinks you make, the higher the DA. Doesn't even need to be quality.

Don't use DA. TF by mejestic is a much better metric

Focus on DA + TF together. Its not rocket science actually. Just keep getting good quality and relative backlinks for your website and enjoy increasing DA+TF.

DA is a one of the metrics to consider. But it is not the only factor you should focus on improving other metrics like TF/CF, RD, DR.
Just follow these 2 steps,
1. Add contents regularly.
2. Get links from high DA sites.

Content updating is not only improve your site DA range, DA and PA are 'link related data'. So you need to build links from high quality and authority sites. it will get more visitors and followers to your site. content is the main thing in that. if you linking your site without content to high quality sites. it wont get you any link juice, So you can do with unique quality content and make sure the content would be relevant to your topic, and linking high page authority pages to your lower PA pages to pass on link juice. and remove spam back links from your site linking to.

Try to get links from sites with high domain authority with niche relevant. And also check with the site content quality, on-page optimization to increase it further.

I've always wondered why people always use Moz (DA) and Majestic (TF) metrics over Ahrefs UR/DR?

- Moz is free
- Majestic checks a few for free & some websites offer their metrics free
