How To Increase Crawl Rate of Website? Need help

Google crawl rate depends on site reputation.

If your site feeds quality pages to Googlebot , you will recieve frequent crawls from Google.

If Googlebot has crawled your site in past and found low quality pages, it will lower the crawl frequency in future.

Think like this: Google saying - "I spend my resources crawling this site, but this site does not offer me quality pages, I will not waster my crawl resource next time".

A quality page means , It has unique content , some resource that is helpful to the internet.

Along with this: Below are the tips to get your website crawled often by Googlebot

1- Organize your sitemap files well (High frequency hub like blogs in one sitemap/ Low frequency hub like static pages in another sitemap)

2- Frequently add fresh content (Site getting updated with fresh contents get more crawls from Googlebot)

3- Remove or improve current webpages that either thin or duplicate contents

4- Improve internal linking (with breadcrumb, link - parent to child, child to parent and sibling to sibling pages)

Interesting observation. I’d just be careful relying on it alone, crawl spikes don’t always translate into stable long-term indexing.

Proper internal linking helps me a lot. You could try it. Also dont stop building authority links.

Improve internal linking, fix crawl errors, optimize server speed, and publish consistent quality content.
