How to improve my Trust Flow?

Hey guys,

I have one main competitor in my niche. They are often ranking above me in the organic search result on the same keywords.

Competitor: DA 7, PA 15, DR 12, URL rating 17, Trust Flow 10
My domain: DA 7, PA 24, DR 17, URL rating 14, Trust Flow 2

As you see above my domain have slightly better numbers except the Trust Flow. Can the Trust Flow effect the rankings so my competitor always are ranking higher?

What is the best way to improve Trust Flow?

get backlinks from sites in your niche, or closely related to your niche. Trust Flow is a metric invented by MajesticSEO and it shows how many sites in the same niche as you give you backlinks

TF doesn't matter honestly, it's an metric that was invented by a 3rd party and highly doubt google uses it algorithm in any form or way.
However, if you want to increase it, get high quality backlinks from real sites related to your niche
 
Get some quality backlinks ! With good tf and cf to get some metrics going up !

Please see attached screenshot. I have a lot of backlinks that Nightwatch says are Dead or Not Present. Can I leave them as it is or should I remove them in some way?

TF isn't a big deal. Especially if it's not a micro-niche.
 
I recommend you to run a backlink profile analysis between your domain and your competitors and check, not only the number of authoritative links pointing to them but also the number of unique sites.

The more authoritative and relevant links pointing to your site from a larger number of unique domains will surely increase your trust flow.
 
Focus on increasing authoritative and only relevant back links in your niche. I follow this.
 
Please also conduct a link audit and remove low-quality, spammy links pointing to your site.

No, creating spammy or low-quality links to your competitor's website is not an effective tactic and is against search engine guidelines. Engaging in such tactics can lead to serious consequences, including penalties and a decrease in search engine rankings.

To really improve tf for your blog you gotta post content that actually adds value to the web and hopefully someday to a reader
secondly focus on building quality niche specific backlinks, you can try these steps and see what the results are. And later experiment according to new updates.
 
In 2023, TF isn't a matter for ranking. But to increase the Trust Flow of the website, get backlinks from high TF and DA websites. Enough.
