How to grow my YouTube channel to make money on it?

Just pick the trendiest topic and keep making videos about it for at least six months, regardless of the results

I have created my YouTube channel for about one month, but i only have 10 subscribers, every video only has a few views, how can i grow more subscribers and make money from YouTube?
To make money on YouTube in 2026, you have to move past the idea of being just a "content creator" and start thinking like a media brand. With AI-generated video flooding the platform, the "middle class" of generic content is dying; viewers now crave either extreme personality or high-utility information.

I also started mine a few months ago. You didn't mention if you are focused on one niche or multiple. I would recommend picking one niche and focusing on it. A channel with a specific niche will also help the algorithm to recommend your channel to the right audience, which will help with retention.

Other non-negotiables include good thumbnails, hooking people in the first few seconds, quality content, and posting consistently.

Look at what other successful channels in the same niche are doing. Not necessarily to copy but to study. Check their thumbnails, titles, topics, the quality, video lengths, hooks, etc. This gives you ideas on how to structure your own.

There are a few ways to earn with YouTube, Ad revenue, affiliate links, and sponsorship. Ad revenue is the easiest for me or for a beginner.

Once you've got all these covered, you can now focus on promoting your content. You can use forums, groups and social media platforms. But what I have been using and has given me the best and fastest results, are micro-jobs platforms. I specifically use SproutGigs to promote my channel, and I can't complain.

Growing on YouTube in the first few months is usually the hardest stage, so don’t focus too much on the subscriber count yet. Most successful creators started with very low views too.

What matters most right now is:
• Choosing one clear niche
• Posting consistently
• Improving thumbnails & titles
• Creating videos people actually search for
• Keeping viewers watching longer

Also, don’t just upload and leave. Promote your videos on Reddit, Facebook groups, TikTok, Pinterest, and Shorts. YouTube rewards engagement and watch time more than anything.

Another mistake many new creators make is trying to make money too fast. Focus on building trust and audience first the income follows later through ads, affiliate marketing, sponsorships, and digital products.

If you want, I can also help you with growth strategies and even help implement some of them for your channel to improve visibility and engagement.

the biggest mistake right now is expecting a lot of followers at once step by step you will gain your auditory, your video quality and then you will start making money

1 month is still real early, so I wouldn’t worry too much yet.
Most channels stay low for a while before the algorithm starts pushing anything.
Just keep posting, work on better thumbnails/titles, and pay attention to what videos people actually click on.
One good video can change things pretty quick.

Good luck with it man, keep at it.
Are you sure?

The first months on youTube are usually very slow so do not get discouraged by low views or subscribers yet focus on improving your titles thumbnails and the first few seconds of your videos bcz retention matters a lot now staying consistent in one niche and learning from each upload is usually what helps small channels eventually grow and reach monetization.

Growing YouTube channel require making pages of replica niches channel on social app pages to advertise/promote the channel for subscribers and viewers growth to approve the channel for monetization.

Building a yt channel takes time, but don't worry, you got this! Focus on creating engaging content that solves problems or entertains your target audience, and promote your videos on other social media platforms to get more eyes on them and eventually monetize your channel.

Hey where can i contact you? Im doing 50k+ a month in entertainment niches and would like to get o&o channels.

Consistency seems to be one of the biggest factors Channels that upload regularly and focus on a specific niche often have a better chance of growing

It definitely comes down to creating high-quality, engaging videos within a specific niche. Whether or not you can make money on YouTube largely depends on how appealing and valuable the videos you create are to your audience.

Focus on the area you excel at and create viral videos.

Focus on your video quality and first 2-3 seconds; add a hook. Improve titles and thumbnails it's are most important.
