How to grow Confidence?

Two methods:

1) Fitness. Get an athletic regimen going, with a specific goal in mind--weight training to improve the physique, aerobics to run a race or to finish an endurance-based game, martial arts to get a belt, even dancing to win a competition, etc. Your sense of accomplishment at the end of a few months should naturally push up your confidence.

2) Fake it to make it. Acting like you are confident builds confidence, because of the way half the brain works. The left brain hemisphere is the center for logical thinking, where you know the difference between true and false (or, when watching a movie, where you know what you are seeing is fiction).

The right brain, where emotion, imagination and "in the moment" existential functions reside, by contrast can't tell the difference between a fictional and a real experience it is perceiving. Lots of agents who went deep undercover, with time, have gone rogue because they become the very thing they were faking. So, pretending to be like a confident person will give you actual experience being confident, as weird as it sounds.

I have nothing to discuss with people around me.

This has nothing to do with confidence. You need people with similar interests.

Good news: Easy problem to solve.
Bad news: You'll have to actually get off the chair and do stuff.

So, you need to find new things for you that you may find enjoyable doing. I strongly suggest physical activities, like dancing. Go sign up to a dancing school. Too scared of being touched by girls while moving your body around? Start with sports. Team sports. Too unfit for sports? Go to the gym. Not for the actual gym, but for being around people who train hard because you want to get the osmosis effect from that mentality. Try to get someone to be your buddy "coach". Ask for advice ("I'm new, can I ask your help for a few minutes?"), keep chatting every time. Soon, you'll become part of the group, if you put the physical effort (nobody likes talkers who don't walk).

In short, find a physical activity where people flock and go do it.

Take lots of action in life. Always be positive. Face your fears. Don't be afraid to fail. Get as much experience as you can. It all takes work, but as you work further and further out of your comfort zone, your comfort zone will expand and you'll gain confidence. Purposely put yourself in awkward situations (not embarrassing) . Whenever you do mess up on something or do something stupid laugh it off

Practice eye contact. But not TOO much!

If you can keep eye contact during a conversation, things will never get awkward; unless it turns into a stare.

Say fuck you to every living soul and keep doing what you really enjoy doing. You will see same kinda people joining your way.

Now where are my 2 cents ?

:P :D

Help me I can not talk with people..
I have nothing to discuss with people around me.
That's I have not a single friend.

Help me How to talk actively?

Read newspapers and news websites, then you can talk to people about latest stuff going on.

Get some enlargement pills. I attribute much of my confidence to my well endowed sausage.

If that does not work, get a good health insurance policy and speak with a professional. The best advice you find online will be in a BST thread next week and a true medical professional can help you to develop your social skills - and I'm not talking about social networking on Fartbook either.
