Hey everyone!

Recently I came across a client who wants to grow a website as quickly as possible and make a revenue of $5000/day.

So, I have expierence with content blog and keyword research(thanks to Blackhat). So, I thought of going with the same model, but I don't think it can grow as quickly as possible, so wanted to explore the paid ads side while staying white hat.

Overview(what I have thought till now):
  • Vertical: Travel
  • Growth strategy: content (keyword optimized) + paid ads
  • Market: USA
  • Budget: Budget isn't a constraint (but I need to keep the blog atleast 30% profitable)
  • Revenue: Display ads + native ads + affiliate
  • Paid Media Channels: Push Notifications + Google Ads + Facebook Ads + Native Ads
I'm not sure if this the right way to go. Can anyone please tell me what are CPC rates for all these channels in USA.
After googling, I got these CPC rates:

  • Push Notifications - $0.2-$0.3
  • Google Ads - $1.5
  • Facebook Ads - $0.55
  • Native Ads - $0.2 - $0.5
So, I wanted suggestions from you guys.
  1. Would this strategy work/does it have any chance (without wasting lot of money)?
  2. Is there any better paid channel which would be effective to focus on? Why?
  3. Do guys have any other suggestion idea?

It is $5000/month and not $5000/day

You outlined an income source as affiliate.

The easiest way to build a site for this with paid traffic that will yield $5000 per month is focus on building a niche targeted email list. Then remarket to the list relevant products.

Month on month the list grows and so it becomes easier to hit and then exceed your target.

The broad evergreen areas to target are health, wealth or happiness and then niche down.

I feel health or wealth niches are bit restrictive like they need way too well research articles. For once, I can even try wealth niche but I would like to stay away from health niches. And as for happiness I didn't understand this. Can you please elaborate this further?

Happy to elaborate.

If you dont understand the basics of how you make money with an affiliate website, you should not be offering to build one for somebody and charging them, because the project will fail.

I don't have any issues with how to generate revenue. I can do that with ads and affiliate products and as you said we can do add more revenue through email list as well as push subscribers. But that is not the problem here.

I want to know the safe route to grow traffic asap with the help of ads (I can do the organic stuff) and which method would be best. Like ad arbitrage while compliment organic traffic

Can you please give any example related to happiness niche?

Health, wealth or happiness are the core motivators of why people take action in your niche.

If you do not understand what is the motivator of your audience you will not be able to write relevant persuasive copy to get them to take action.

If you are not able to get them to take action your ROI will plummet and you will most likely not hit profit targets.

As i explained if you dont know that, you should not be offering a service that requires that knowledge to be successful.

What are you going to earn? Just on advertising or increase a number of your customers?

If latter, you need to buy traffic, I would start with Facebook. Optimize your cost per click, but in such a way that quality of traffic does not fall, focusing on the number of sales.

To achieve success, you need to immediately monetize it, sell tours, for example, without intermediaries with constant reinvestment back into advertising.
