How to get traffic to a streaming website?

hello ppl,
I was learning Web Programming through a course. After completion of the course, I was looking for a project, and hence I choose to create a movie streaming website.
So Some features of my website:
It has a custom video player
It has probably all movies and shows possible
After all this, I thought it would be cool that some people start using my site
hence i would like to know some ways to promote/attract traffic to my site.
Any help is appreciated.

Advertise on BHW
Start with sharing your pages on Facebook but don't overdo it to risk a block.

I would start out by sharing your site on FB groups like afidegnum mentioned. That's an easy free way to get started. If you have some SEO knowledge, you may want to target some low-competition keywords that could drive traffic to your streaming site. If you have capital, then paid advertising is also an option, but then you'd have to consider if you want or could even use paid advertising if the site is in the grey area (aka not necessarily legal).

Facebook is a good opportunity to promote. You can also try link building to improve your ranking.
 
If the site got copwrite video don't do nothing.

Look up offshore hosting and domains.

So many been in trouble be careful .

Yes bro It is still under development but i would love to complete it. If i think there are enough people looking to visit.

Have you figured out which ad service you would be going with? Im starting now as well, the movies are provided by a third party on an off shore host and I just setup a off shore domain. Any advice/recommendations? Any game plan set up for how you’ll advertise your site ?
