It seems that some sellers always pop up on top. what are the factors that can help with listings getting more visibility these days?

focus on strong title with main keywords, clear description, and good images ebay’s search favors relevance and quality.

Some people fake the eBay watcher views.
More people are watching = higher in the listings.

"I think you need only 1 - 10 to see results"

Copy and bury some of those tittle and keywords of all the listed item's which are currently on the front page of ebay within the body of your description and use the white background or black background to hide/highlight these text.

Note; the reason for highlighting is for the text to be visible only to ebay bot obviously not to your customers.

yeah hiding text with matching backgrounds is a one way ticket to getting shadowbanned now, ebays bot is way too smart for that old school stuff. faking watchers still has some weight but honestly sales velocity is the only thing cassini actually cares about. if you have no traction yet just run promoted listings standard at 2% to get those first few conversion signals, then drop it back down. also fill out every single item specific even if you have to make stuff up, the structured data is what actually pushes you up the filters.

Be sure to choose keywords, offer fair pricing, and ship fast.

Use relevant keywords, competitive prices, and fast shipping to rank.

good reviews and staying active make a big difference. once people start trusting your listing, it seems to get more visibility.

eBay loves listings that get clicked and then actually sell. Title gets you indexed, but rank moves when CTR, price, shipping, returns and seller metrics all line up. Hidden keyword stuff is old and risky imo, better to copy the structure of top listings but not stuff it. If item is new, I usually take a smaller margin first week, promote low %, get a few sales, then adjust price back up. Also item specifics are boring but they matter alot for filters.

Consistency in sales, quick responses, good ratings, and consistent listing updats are some of the things that will defintely give the biggest boost. Title optimizaton and compet tive prices matter more than one might think

Watchers/views can give a tiny nudge but they dont save a weak listing. @TrooY the big stuff now is clean title, correct category, item specifics filled properly, price/shipping not worse than the first page, and actual sales velocity. The hidden keyword trick is pretty much dead imo, maybe worked years ago but now it just looks like a flag waiting to happen.

Also dont ignore thumbnails. If your main pic gets more clicks than the guy next to you, Cassini notices that faster than most people think.

One thing people forget is stale listings can drag a bit. If a listing has been sitting with impressions but no clicks/sales, sometimes ending it and relisting with a better main pic, tighter title, and slightly adjusted price works better than just editing forever.

Wouldn’t bother with hidden text or fake watcher junk now, too easy to flag and not worth losing account trust over. Better play is make the first 7-14 days count... competitive price, promoted low %, fast handling, and make the thumbnail look better than the 5 listings around it. eBay is basically rewarding listings that prove they can convert, not just ones stuffed with keywords.

Use keywords, quality images, speedy delivery, and positive seller ratings.

Good titles with relevant keywords, competitive pricing, quality photos, and strong seller ratings usually make the biggest difference. Consistent sales and fast shipping also help listings rank higher.

concentrate on making interesting title that includes all your keywords and good images ebay likes relevant good quality.
