Anyone? I'm not asking anyone to reveal their secret method, just the basic steps so that I could play around with snapchat API.
The only way that I know would be to collect usernames and add users as friends by username, but I doubt that it would just result ban when I would start to spam my offers. I would rather make it other way around that users would add me like can be done in Instagram where you can get users to check your profile by using following/liking/commenting. Maybe its not possible in snapchat?
Seems that big names are begging followers using their twitter/fb accounts. That doesn't sound worthwhile when I could spam my offers directly to twitter/fb users rather than try to get the add me in snapchat.

The conversion ratio is quite good once you figure out what type of images work.
The best way to obtain friends on SnapChat is to add your username in the bio of your other profiles and wait for people to add you.
Continue to grow your Twitter an Instagram following and you will gradually get more requests.

Snapchat is totally different kind of App. I don't think there will be anyway to get niche targeted audience for promoting different product or services. But as @Die$el specified, you can put your snapchat id on instagram or any other social profile or page so you can get followers from it. If anybody has any tricks then i'm interested to know about it.

There is a free way to get more followers on Snapchat... You get to add yourself and then you will get a list of followers to add.
Pick and choose BUT you have to do it from your phone at Snapchat
directory from your phone browserIt is amazing and GaryV came up on my list. Keep going back to find new people to share with.
