Basicly, this is the question.
Tonight I noticed, that they took my money for subscription, when I didn't plan to use it.
Should I just cancel it and the money will be back?

Try to contact their support ASAP, ask to cancel and refund.

Yes. if you have paid for the order and subsequently cancel it before dispatching, then not only Ahrefs but any such merchant has to return your funds back to you. The restrictions levied upon the user for not completing limited to personal transactions and cashbacks and not on returns. So, you should be getting back your money and if you don't, then you can report it to Ahrefs. If their response doesn't satisfy your demands then you can always take the legal route.

Charge back, and tell your bank that you cancelled the account. Still you got charged.

That should do it.

If I were you I will contact them, and they will return you the money. This type of services don't like issues with unhappy clients.

How quickly will they answer me?

Generally the answer in 24-48h... or they can even answer in some hours, this is the quality of the service my friend :D

Lol, legal action or what? Did you read the OPs post ? "Should I just cancel it..." Basically he signed up for the trial and forgot to cancel. He can ask them to refund, but legally he agreed to renewal after the trial together with the logged IP address during signup

This, to me, sounds like you forgot to cancel your 7-day trial and were thus charged?

Forget the responses here that say legal route and all the BS, in the end,

that is on you BUT just contact them and if you have not used it after the trial they may just refund you.

This ^ ....

The onus is on you to cancel, not them to remind you.

It's a case of you deciding you're not going to use it, stands no legal weight at all.

Ahrefs may offer you a discretionary refund, as a token of good will but they have no legal obligation to do so.

Ahrefs is pretty good on refunds, had several accounts with them in the past and they were very good about issuing refunds even a few days after billing.

You should contact their customer specialist. Paid services have reliable customer support, Ahrefs included. Ask for advise before doing anything.

Just email them. They will most likely refund it.

I believe I have gotten a refund from them before for the same reason some time back.

They usually just refund for this type of thing when asked. Don't do a chargeback, that's unecessary at this point, and the bank will probably ask for evidence of you trying to resolve the issue with Ahrefs anyway. Let us know how you get on
