I have an ebay account that is 10 years old and has a couple sales on it. I want to start dropshipping but I still have a hold on funds, what is the fastest way to get past the hold?

I have faced this situation of Paypal for 21 days money pending just because not an establish seller.

I am in the same boat as well. My plan is to just start small and purchase on credit. I believe they remove the hold after 90 days of your first sale as long as your account is in good standing. I have heard others recommend that you sell ebooks for 99 cents to establish positive feedback quickly, but I'm just going to stick with what I am doing right now.

Once its held theres really nothing you can do unless the buyer marks the item as received.
In the future... If you haven't already, add your SSN, a photo of your id and update your contact info and it should take the limits off. But no one wants PayPal to have their SSN so i don't blame you if you don't do that :p

The above info is mostly correct - 21 day holds typically are for new accounts and last for the first 90 days you are a seller. However it can also happen on older accounts without much selling activity (as in OP's case). You also need at least 25 transactions and $250 in sales.

You should stay away from eBooks, though. Those listings will get removed eventually (very quickly on new accounts), and you'd need to sell a lot (and put your account at risk) to reach $250 in sales. Just sell things around your house that you don't need. If you have nothing, then go to a dollar store and buy a few cheap things from there.

A lot of people hate 21 day holds, but I think it's a natural guideline of how to build up a new account safely. The first 3 months you should be proceeding carefully and slowly by selling low risk items for the best results. Sales will come easily because people generally won't think twice from buying a cheap item even from someone with little to no feedback, and as the sales increase so will your feedback.

Once the 21 day holds are off for good, then the account would naturally be ready to handle bigger and better things and that's when I start to sell my main items.

To expedite the time in which Paypal holds your funds, you can mark the item as shipped and add a valid tracking number. Once the tracking shows that the item was delivered then your 21 day hold on that particular payment will be decreased to 3 days.

1, account shouldbe 180 days ols.
2, accounts hould have done 25 to 250 transaction
3, no disputesin the time perios and add tracking laways

What about selling physical versions of eBooks? If one has a heavy duty laser printer and means to bind pages.

you have to wait and be established seller but you can mark items as shipped with tracking information for faster than 21 day hold.

As stated above, throw in your items tracking information and the 21-day hold will be reduced to 3 days after delivery.

I can remove 21 day hold option from your paypal.
Thanks.
Newbies tread carefully. Nobody that I know of can do this

Would love to hear your method though :)

The most common way is you have to sell on eBay for so long and have so many sells to remove the 21 day hold.

So let me get this straight, he provides all these services but is trying to buy ebay accounts instead of making them himself?

still looking for a old eBay account with 10-20 feedback.

There is no way to lift it up. I could be wrong about aged accounts and the ones that have had a selling history but this not avoidable before 90 days have passed on new seller accounts.
