How to get new content writing clients?

After working for years as a writer, I have experience in writing even on rare niche topics including hunting, cannabis, etc. I have worked for a few clients and their websites never got hit by chilling Google Updates or never seen a down track.

My pay Rates were $75/1k words. Should I change them?

One of my client's hunting websites has currently over 200+ traffic in just a few months.

Need suggestions to get new clients

There are websites such as iWriter & Contena that pay you to write. Your best bet is to create a small/medium portfolio page showcasing your writing ability/previous writing experience.

Collect reviews from previous clients as an added bonus to any potential clients reviewing your portfolio.

Linkedin groups & message farming is also very profitable with some niches, including content writing.

I would recommend you create a thread here in BHW. a lot of people will see your offer. But you need to change your pay rate content writing in BHW is a very competitive and low rate. But the good thing here is a lot of people will see your offer..

no, you can't discuss anything! You're not allowed to sell anything outside of the marketplace, so don't push your luck or you'll get banned! Go the usual route like all of us: contribute to the forum to get to 100 posts and wait for 2 months before being allowed to upgrade to Jr. Vip so you can open up a BST and sell your services, or buy the marketplace seller status (I believe it's $750 / year now) and sell your services in the marketplace.

There's really no way around this on BHW, so don't push your luck :)

And unfortunately for you, it will not end nicely if you try to game the system. Follow the rules like everyone else, and you will not have issues here. Remember, you will go further by actually following the rules and then breaking them.

You can try cold email outreach. Normally I do outreach for guest post. So far I got 4-5 content writing clients who are not interested in guest post, but they are looking for writers.:D

I have a question. How many cold emails do you send to find 4-5 of those?

I dont do outreach for getting content writing clients, so I think it will be unfair to judge it by total numbers.

1st and most important step: Identify your prospects
Collect emails by any email scrapper tools
Clean the email list
Write a sales email
Start to send email and gradually increase the sending limit.
