How to get more Traffic to my sites?

I need more traffic to my sites without using traffic exchanges. I have a one site that is PR 2 that is not even showing up on any of my keywords.

I have WP sites with all in one SEO pack, use of keywords throughout the pages, good content, and have created many backlinks with articles, blog comments, and other sites. I am still not getting any traffic? I have a high exact keyword phrase in my domain name too : dns lookup tools.

I was banned from Adsense for some unknown reason, I think it was a click from linkreviewer account I could not disable because their site is down. Does this hurt my search ranking and traffic?

Any suggestions or advise on how to get more traffic is appreciated.
