How To Get Google News Approval For A B2B site ?

Hello,
I want to add publication at publishercenter google com, but I can't verify my search console.
When I click on the verify button it just leads me to the search console page for creating a property.
Is there any way to verify it?

there's no way you can proceed without having it verified in GSC,
find a solution for this one, add a news section to the website and apply with the required data

you're missing something out,
are you sure you're using the same email for both of them?
are the URLs prefixes the same? like https/http www/non-www
also, make sure to add the website as proprietary in the GSC, domain verification adds the whole wildcard domain and you need to add the specific separately
