How To Form LLC With 10$

the llc formation dont require an attorney or needs to be complicated. The purpose of the llc is so that the state can recognize the business as an entity and for tax puposes. Now that been said, he will encounter issues trying to get a tax id number. He can get the article of organization for $1 but he will poop yellow when he gets asked about the tax id.

These fees are paid to the state. Period.
There is no way to get an llc for 10 dollars. 45 looks like the lowest, but then you need an address, registered agent, and of course, a tax ID.

Man, not to rain on anyone's parade, but anyone who would think of starting a legit LLC on $10 is out of there fucking mind. Make sure you have cookies and milk for the tax man during your first audit, and plently of lube for you ass, and possibly a bandaid. There is so much more to forming a LLC, and you sure as hell are not going to form a legit one on $10

There's actually not a whole lot more to forming an LLC, at least in my state. You definitely can't do it for $10, but my state is a little over $100, and I can do it all online through the state's website.

LLC - $110
Address - Free
Registered Agent - Free (me)
Tax ID - Free

I can have an llc setup in about 30 minutes.

I just had to comment on this. This is false. It doens't take alot to form a LLC. Nor will effect an audit or anything of that nature. I've had several. One I have had with a Apartment address and was able to obtain business credit eventually and more. You can get business bank account immediately after it is set up. Most banks even offer free service to collect business taxes on your behalf. If you have that service and keep reciepts you'll be fine. I recommend using some accounting software if you wanna do things yourself.

As a side note, setting up a LLC is very easy and fast. All you need is members names and to do articles of corperation. It literally takes aboout five minutes. There is know background check or anything like that. It onlt get complicated when you go above the LLC level to corperation filings.

Sorry, not true. TAX ID number is completely free. Anyone can request one from IRS. Once it is obtained just give it to State you are registering to. You can have a Tax ID and it usually won't get you to far without being incorperated.

Waste of money. Nothing wrong with getting advice on how to run a biz from a lawyer, but for most small biz this simply isn't needed or complicated. Nor doesn't it have anything to do with LLC complience. Don't mean to sound insulting, but it is laughable that one would think that.

All you have to do is look at that tax rates and talk to bank to take it out when money hits your bank account. Then at the end of the year do or have done your biz taxes. LLC is one of the easiest business organizations to run.

Tell me where I can get this P.O box that you speak of for a one time payment of $10
...and a free registered agent

(currently owns two foreign corporations in good standing & calling bullshit on your entire post)

My NY LLC cost me more than just the filling. I have 2 of them. NY requires you post newspapers ads, you need to get a letter from the county. An LLC completely in NY Tax ID, and everything goes for about $600 in total not including the official seal.

Like I said, these are just the mandatory filing fees to the state.

There is no way this guy is just doing this for 10 dollars. It's obviously a scam.

What I think he got for $1 is the electronic verification. Many places like USPS charge you $1 as a verification. He might had the filling verification for $1 and the state send him a email confirming his submission, then he needs to paid for the filling and they only accept checks or something.

funny thread.
also theres actually no info in it. just 'google this'.

go for nevada or delaware.. I personally prefer delaware you will end up spending around $200 per year if you get a third party to do all the stuff for you. You get everything including a taxid.

As far as People outside the US goes, it is easy to register a business, but hard to run it.. There is no way you can open a bank account in the US without going to a bank in person post 911(thanks to patriot act). Don't register a business just for the sake of it.

"I registered some days ago to this wonderful site and it really has helped me a lot."

People send him pm's, "what's the site?"

FYI in California there is a $800 yearly LLC fee, and other assorted fees. Don't forget your taxes too, and after 2 years you will need to provide estimated quarterly taxes. We hire an accountant to do our taxes as I really don't want to mess around with that myself. After 2 years we had to file a Statement of Information which is $25. There is more to this than just the upfront costs.
Maybe it would have been better to form the LLC in Wyoming. $125 p/a + $35 for a registered agent. LLCs in Wyoming are not taxed.

What's the point of starting a company if you don't have $150 to create it?
I'm not American, so I do not believe that tax avoidance is worse than drunk driving, quite the opposite. Some States, Wyoming and Florida for example, do not tax LLCs. Nor do they require many personal details, or proof of I.D. That's not tax evasion, it's tax avoidance anyway.

If you're not American, c corps are the way to go, not LLC.

The amount of faulty information in this thread is breath taking.

I typically use bizfilings or legalzoom to file new LLC's. They also provide registered agent services and keep all your official documents online for your immediate access anytime you need them. I've never seen anything cost $10 - ever - for any state - for any entity type.

I find legalzoom a little more expensive but never had issues with legal documents. Again I haven't really try anything else.

WOW lot of emotion over the most boring topic on earth (taxes)

What good is forming an LLC in a state where you don't have a business presence?
Business address?
Bank account?

I vote for Wyoming there are several competent companies that can set you up with everything you need to operate a "somewhat legal" business with everything you need, you will have to figure out the bank account on your own...
