How To Form LLC With 10$

Hello,

I registered some days ago to this wonderful site and it really has helped me a lot.

While ago was searching to establish an LLC in USA.
Searching on sites I found that price range was starting from 150$ up to 500$.

I finally succeeded to make it on my own with just few bucks.
Some USA states allow you to form an LLC online, one of this for example is Colorado (google for site of Colorado State)

You will need a registered agent if you live outside USA which you can get one for totally free (google for free registered agent)
Finally you will need a USA address or P.O box which you can get for free or for something like 10$ one time fee.

If you finally need telephone number you can acquire one from skype.

And that's it. You have a complete virtual office.

FYI in California there is a $800 yearly LLC fee, and other assorted fees. Don't forget your taxes too, and after 2 years you will need to provide estimated quarterly taxes. We hire an accountant to do our taxes as I really don't want to mess around with that myself. After 2 years we had to file a Statement of Information which is $25. There is more to this than just the upfront costs.

I did form a LLC in Colorado for 1$. Yearly renewal fee is also 1$

Time to complete form is 5 minutes and you get an email with article of organization after about 5 minutes.

Now regarding taxes it is a different theme, every state has different taxes, I am just talking here about cost to initially form a LLC

Man, not to rain on anyone's parade, but anyone who would think of starting a legit LLC on $10 is out of there fucking mind. Make sure you have cookies and milk for the tax man during your first audit, and plently of lube for you ass, and possibly a bandaid. There is so much more to forming a LLC, and you sure as hell are not going to form a legit one on $10

I'm already well aware of how cheap you can form a LLC in certain states. But if your going to give out information, then give out the full information to people. Such as what your going to need to do if you do form said LLC. It isn't as simple as just filling in a few fields and hitting a buttom and boom! Hey I'm a LLC. There is so many factors that should be included, such as your home states tax laws, tax rates, etc. Not to mention Patriot Act laws that 100% apply to newly formed LLC's. When forming a LLC if you do not hire a atty to do it for you, then your pretty much a idiot. There are so many unknown laws now concerning these things that you should be paying a atty to guide you and above all, keep you 100% in compliance with #1 your LLC state, as well as your home state. Anyways I'm not going to ramble all day but if you value your way of life, pay a damn atty $500 to do something like this so you can start out legit.

You need a registered agent if you live outside the state, not outside the US. So if you live in NY and incorporate in CO, you will need a registered agent or mailing address in CO.

Also, if you do go with an LLC, make sure you elect how you want it to be treated for tax purposes. Using a 2553 to treat it as an S corp is often a great way to go for small businesses.

You can not register a company in the union of states in america for 10 dollars.

The lowest state filing fees alone are usually like 75 dollars. That's not the only thing you need.

This is a bait and switch.

Read "The Death of Common Sense". It's good to have a lawyer for incorporating a biz to protect you from the tax collector.

the llc formation dont require an attorney or needs to be complicated. The purpose of the llc is so that the state can recognize the business as an entity and for tax puposes. Now that been said, he will encounter issues trying to get a tax id number. He can get the article of organization for $1 but he will poop yellow when he gets asked about the tax id.
