How to Find Zero-Competition Niches for Affiliate Website

Wow. I wasn't expecting a that good of a method. This is actually perfect, mate. Thanks for the share. Never thought of that.

While I wouldn't start an Amazon affiliate website in 2020 due to them most likely changing the commission structure in the next 3-5 years, this is actually a really good tip that can be applied to a lot of other affiliate programs as well.

  • The guy runs amazon.com on Ahrefs´ Site Explorer
  • Heads over to the Backlinks tab
  • Filters all results by DR in descending order
  • Filters down results even further by setting "Traffic" to a minimum of 100
  • Adds a 3rd filter on the "Word or phrase" filter tab by adding the word "Best"
This way, Ahrefs will show you results of all the sites that are linking back to Amazon targeting commercial intent keywords with a very low DR (low to cero backlinks) and are getting at least 100 monthly visitors.

You can do a lot of things with Ahrefs. It's a really good tool IMO. I found a KW with very low KD and I am already getting around 500 UV/day from organic search within 2 months. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for summarizing the video, I am too lazy to watch the video. :D

Makes me wonder how many keyword research tutorials are out there lol

I am sure it has but I couldn´t put my finger on who shared it.

In fact, if I recall correctly, the method was built around Shopify as well.

This will work with things like Ebay, Wayfair, Etsy as well, and you can use similar to find woocommerce easy KW's. If you want to spin it, you can go local, so in the UK find easy KW's for B&Q etc etc. Anywhere with an affiliate programme or shopping cart software.

Easy KW's everywhere.

I've learnt a lot from your Ahrefs guide. Could you please explain a little more on finding woocommerce/shopify easy KW's by using this method? Thanks so much!

For me zero competition means the niche is not worth exploring. But just my 2 cents

I understand how to do the same for etsy and wayfair,
but wondered how you do the rest of the things you have mentioned below

Ebay
Woocommerce
Local
Anywhere with a shopping cart

appreciate if you can elaborate

It's the same as Quora, you can find with the same method what pages of Quora rank and dive in answers.
