hi backlink experts,
i cannot find an answer to following

is there any way to see backlinks built to the 301 redirected site?

lets say site A had lots of backlinks and now redirected to site B and hopefully passes juice to site B.

in other words - can you suggest any tool / site that shows redirects?

thanks

Hi,

Might be I didn't explain correctly what i'm looking for

If someone builds backlink not directly to the siteA, but to the other resource configured as 301 redirect to siteA (which I understand many SEO guys do for their clients) is there a way to find those redirects?
None of what I know - MS, SpyGlass, SiteExplorer show 301 redirects.

How relevant backlink analysis for the siteA that is dominating local niche if I only can see 3 backlinks and cannot find subdomain on siteB with 3k backlinks configured with 301 to siteA?

Thank you

I hope it's not very annoying, I'll try to rephrase this one more time in hope to get somebody's answer

I recently was shown the site that ranks very good on several keywords and if you look at this site backlinks it would be hard to explain why.
I know that there are several (i don't know how many) resources (domains, subdomains, folders, ???) configured with 301 redirect to this site and links are all built to them and not directly to the main site.

If I look at backlinks list I only can see less than a dozen, but is there a way to see that they build links to 301 redirected resource?

thanks

I think no one is answering because the answer is no. At least, I've never heard of a way to check that.
