the problem with just leaving comments on random blogs is most of them are set to nofollow and since the content might not be directly related to what you do the links arent as valuable as they could be

How to find places to comment:

Step1 - Do a google search and find a URL for a website whos ranking for a specific keyword you would like to beat

Step 2 - enter that URL in a backlink checker: (any checker will do)

step 4 - gather a list in notepad of URLs you believe to be blogs

step 5- leave comments

simple but effective

enjoy!

Easy to say but not that easy to do...:D

That indeed is the basis of most methods sold an converted to traffic getting systems

Thanks for the tip....difficult to do though...very time consuming !

ScrapeBox speeds this process up... harvest site(s), use the backlink addon to save backlinks, filter them (pagerank, indexed, duplicates), check if they are blogs. Can do all that in less than 5 mins.

But seriously, this is a good idea.

I think you can also pick up SEO Elite in the download section. This works well for finding competitor backlinks, checking pr etc. Not a substitute for SB but its free.

Hmmm... I see no step 3... ha! (must be the secret information in the ebook) LOL

Yea, there are a lot of tricks in Scrapebox that I'm just beginning to learn myself... its certainly more powerful than meets the eye!
