How to find a niche?

so I was thinking about creating a website on arsenal fc. But I soon realized it would be hard to rank and there are too many similar websites and it wouldn't even be that profitable.

I have some other options but I'm curious as to what you guys did to find your niche?

To begin looking for a niche to target, I think of things that I find interesting so I can build around it.

That is one of the most important things to do in my opinion so you don't abandon the project.

For a new guy, I would suggest looking at what Extrawinner offers in his keyword packets and once you get some keywords that will work for you from his packet, use the google wonderwheel and get a bunch more and build a site around that.

Being new, I wouldn't suggest that you look for KWs on your own until you have some internet marketing under your belt.

I'm 16 a don't really want to pay money for stuff i don't have to.

Go to bookstore with a wide selection of magazines. Look at all the different subjects that are represented by the many magazine titles. There are lots of niches there. Take some notes and then use the Google wonderwheel that Basstrackerboats recolmmended. That will give you a bunch of keywords. Then use those keywords with Market Samurai or Traffic Travis(which you can also get for free.

Do a search for keyword selection criteria and you should be good to go.

Funny, I just used the search function to search for "niche" and I got 500 results.

You aren't going to make money with laziness. That isn't supposed to be rude or offensive, but if you've got no money to spend on outsourcing or services, you need to be prepared to put in more work than someone who does. And by work, I mean reading and learning about your subject for at least two or three hours a day for a while, followed by another hour or two each day of actually doing work.

And well done on realising that making a site about Arsenal FC would be utterly pointless in terms of what you can get out of it.
