How to explain this case with duplicate content

The first website clearly copied content from the second one. They have strange link structure without ssl.

The second website is clearly original author of article, use good link structure and has ssl, but they posted again after 5 years same article with few changes.

Kwfinder scores:

The first one which copied content has lower DA score 17 and 53 fb shares. There is no backlinks.

Why website with lower DA, bad link structure and copied content outranked original one? Is it because of fb shares or because the original one posted same article twice?

dont just check the metrics, you should check the onpage and backlinks as well

Different strokes, different folks.

Many things that don't work anymore in countries like USA, are still allowed in many other countries.

I already said they literally copied the whole article from word to word so there is nothing to check onpage also there is zero backlinks on both side, the only difference is 53 fb shares and fact that original website posted almost same article 5 years after.

Hmmmm, maybe the traffic was the big factor here, check both websites traffic and maybe that's the thing here.
