How to Estimate Expired Domains?

I would like to ask the experienced Expired Domains experts if they can direct me and answer some of my questions:
- How can I estimate how much Expired Domains is worth? I ask for a reason if I would like to buy one. (without using estibot)
- Where can I sell Expired Domains the fastest? (I value that valuation here as well, as in the question above)
- Which tool is best to use to find Expired Domains?
- Recommended free e-book. tutorials, etc. regarding Expired Domains. (except these posts)
All of these questions about Expired Domains are for him to use for his websites, or to build a PBN. If I don't like Expired Domain I can sell it.
You may recommend that I buy ExDom from a respected @Nargil member or @AngelSeo, which I may do, but I think I need to have some prior knowledge or knowledge of Expired Domains if I want to use them.

Please don't use valuation tools. They are worthless.

By the way, if you are flipping domains, you're not selling an expired domain... you're selling a domain

expired domains is a good tool to find expired domains; however I only check the domains within the last 24 hours, the rest is crap or being already abused for spam
I sort them, minimum a few backlinks; good sort is also if the domain has wikipedia link
I copy the list I get to ahrefs batch tool to see how many and how quality backlinks it has

And this way you can find a domain for 10$ that some people on this forum are selling for 100$, been there, done that

To estimate a expired domain:
Anything below domain rating 30 is too weak (but of course can be more and still not good enough). Good ones with DA below 15 are rare but possible. DA is inflated by spam and is not generally a good metric. Good ones with TF below 3 are rare but possible (but ignore TF as it's the worst metric it's only useful combined with CF to see spam very fast). However, high TF does not guarantee anything (some spam links boost TF too), can be TF 30 and still complete shit. Most importantly - Many referring domains, links should be natural (pointing to the homepage if possible) + manual evaluation of link quality (natural is not enough, better be strong too!). And clean history in Archive.org.

Everyone who mentions expireddomains.net is a useful free tool, it just takes a long time to find a quality domain. So I think it's ungrateful to use.
Scrapebox could have been bought for $ 49 for a while, but it's a long time since that option and it's a shame there is never a discount.
I also tried to use ahrefs by supremseo (dot) com- Before buying the questions I received an answer immediately, but after payment, I was not given an access code or answer in 3 days of sending messages. Many on this forum boasted supremseo but it looks like I'm bad luck.
@Mia Jane everything you wrote is true. The point is to come to these results.
My question is a little specific. It is different from those who would trade expired domains. Although that option is in my question, should I have an expired domain
wanted to sell but did not want my main business to be trading expired domains in Vienna solely for my own needs? Because if you have multiple websites and build your own PBN network over time, you may want to sell or replace an expired domain with another.

1). Always Check DA/PA of domain

DA Stands for Domain Authority & PA Stands for Page Authority.

I am not going into detailing, you can further read about DA/PA in Google.

You can either go with some paid subscription of some of the famous site or use some free tool sites for these. Just Google up.

2). Google Banned Check

This is must before buying any expired domain.

Always check the domain before buying it using google banned check tool.


3). Check Previous Website

You can use archive.org site to check what kind of website previously built over the expired domain.

This is important, because it's backlink & social profile would send you relevant traffic and if you build some different kind of website so visitor would never stay over and this would cause a high bounce rate.


4). Check Backlinks Profile

CHINESE BACKLINKS DESTROY YOU

Use some backlinks profile checker tools to analyze type of backlinks connecting with domain. I can recommend to go with ahref for this. This is a paid tool but it worth it.


5). Domain Age & Page Rank

Older the domain, Profitable to Sell.

Higher the PR, Easy to Rank.

So evaluate over the Age & PR, before going for any expired domain.

I'm not an expert but I think these are important:

• Check how many backlinks domain has - use can use tools like ahrefs, semrush
• Check if domain was parked before, because if it was and somebody let it go, this automatically means this domains wasn't making a lot of money, you can use tools like completedns.com
• Check how the domain looked before it expired - you can use archive.org

Use Archive to rip off old content/structure.
