I have an Amazon Affiliate website and would like to know more about the SEO tactics( I know most of them) to be implemented for the same, so as to drive more traffic to the website. Please suggest the most efficient technique to have high conversion rate of products of Amazon.

I wouldn't even bother with a Amazon store, I tried one a while back for a fairly easy keyword. I blasted good healthy blog post's at it on a daily basis, I'd often get to page 5/6 then dissapear again. The second I removed the Amazon store link's my rankings came back to life & I pushed to page 1 where I am today.

Yup, don't use amazon unless you know what you're doing. ;)

I do have some sales... abt 4 to 5 orders per week though.. i use mostly social networks to share the links...

I've been on the fence about Amazon's affiliate program but that 4% rate is really shitty.

I even thought about clickbank but alot of those products are shitty and have shitty promotional pages.

Amazon starts you off at 4% but the more you sell the higher your percent is. It goes from 4 to 8.5 percent. So it's definitely worth it if you can get traffic cause Amazon converts extremely well.

Doesn't it reset back to 4% every month?

Also, apparently, there are products on commission junction and moreniche that give 50% commissions. Seems like a good idea to do that instead of Amazon.

Yes it does revert to 4%. But sell like 10 things and you're back at 6% Then another 25 things you're at 6.5%, etc.
Also, Amazon is the king of the Upsell. People innocently go there to buy their favorite book and end up buying shirts, food, movies, etc.
