As I'm sure some of you know the old version of Google Search Console page was officially phased out yesterday. And this got me wondering if there was another way to do the "crawl this url and its direct links" ? Because in the new console page I still don't see a way to do that ? This sucks if this is gone forever because that was a helpful way to help index certain urls that you had trouble with otherwise.

In the new search console, go to URL inspection > enter the URL > Request Indexing.

Hey I didn't realize that feature was missing. Just tried it and it doesn't show up. Also interested to know how to solve this.

Yes but after you solve the catcha, it immediately sends the index request. Does not allow you to choose whether to crawl url and direct links.
 
yeah! how to submit the direct links in the new search console !?
 
Select Crawl only this URL to submit one individual URL to Google for re-crawling. You can submit up to 500 individual URLs per month in this way. Select Crawl this URL and its direct links' to submit the URL and all the other pages the URL links to, for re-crawling.

I don't think in the new version there is a way to "crawl this url and its direct links"
