Thats a valid point but I plan to hire freelancers to do most of the work and I rather chose a niche that shows a bigger chance of succes (based on research) then closing one of my interests that most likely has a lot of competition. If it makes money I can do this long time no matter the topic. It's going to be faceless videos only, so only a niche where I don't need to show my face.

Yep, searching manually for stats takes time.
Instead of spending time getting statistical data information, better use a tool like this.
We can use the time for other things.

When building a new blog and determining which niche to target, I ask four basic questions.
First, am I personally interested in the sub-niche?
If the answer is no, I drop it.
I don't care how hot it may seem or how much money I stand to make.
If I'm not personally interested in it, chances are, I will become bored or frustrated at some point in the future and drop the project.
The second question I ask myself involves the commercial value of the niche.
The commercial value has to be high enough for me to invest my time and focus on the blog.
My threshold is at least $5000 up to $10,000 a month.
If I don't see that happening with the most basic monetization option, I drop the niche idea.
The third consideration I focus on involves scalability.
I must be able to scale this niche.
If it's very limited or has a "low ceiling" when it comes to traffic or monetization, I drop it.
Finally, I pay attention to how many possible ways I can monetize the niche.
Of course, the more, the better.
Using this system increases your chances of picking the right niche.
Remember, if you fail to plan, you're actually planning to fail.
I've said that many times on this forum because it's absolutely true.

Use Google Keyword Tool to determine the CPC value of the keyword.
It's just a rough guide on the overall commercial value of the kws of a niche
