The free Ahrefs keyword tool is useful for getting started. I normally combine its suggestions with Google autocomplete, People Also Ask, related searches, and competitor research to build a larger list of realistic keywords.

i usually start with google suggestions related searches and competitor pages then use Ahrefs or semrush to check volume and difficulty when needed keyword research is definitely important but i’d focus more on search intent and realistic topics than paying for a tool continuously

yes keyword research matters a lot, skipping it usually means writing content nobody searches for for budget option try free ahrefs, google trends and autocomplete combo.
once blog making some money then investing in semrush/ahrefs subscription pays for itself pretty quick
