No. Banning will look bad on me and the links I promoted here. Simply close down my account and erase all threads and posts of mine. That way, it is as if I never existed.

It does not work that way.
We can ban the account or you can just not log in.
Please choose one or the other.

Reason why I told him to delete my account and reply here is because I want to read his confirmation here since I wont be able to read any confirmation PM. I can always read this thread even after my account has been closed down. I said to delete this thread 24hr later so that people don't waste time reading a thread where I ask to be shut down.

In the past I opened accs in forums then faded away for a few yrs then returned back under new accs using new computers as old ones died taking away all acc details and I forgot my old acc details to login to them with new computers. If I ever return here using a new computer then I dont want to have 2 accs open. This current computer will die anytime soon and I cant be bothered manually making a list of all forums and usernames etc. to use with the future computer. Maybe some programmer build user & password exporter. It might sell well. Good idea. Why dont you add a "close acc" feature in our accs like linkedin, facebook and twitter did ? Make it easy for us to close our accs. This is my feature suggestion.
If you ban me then would all my threads and posts vanish ? If not then my potential future customers would see I got banned here and my future trade would get bad image as people would wrongfully assume I dont play by the book and get kicked off.

Can you not delete all my threads and posts then I can cease using my acc? I believe if we don't login for a long time then acc gets deleted anyway. Correct ?

If you do not log in for a long time your posts will fade into the archives but we don't delete posts as a general rule.

Just curious, can you give feed back why you never tried the fan browser ? What was bad about the concept ? Privacy issue ?
