I'm looking for a way to unfriend inactive friends on Facebook all at once. Does anyone know an effective method? I've tried using several Chrome extensions, but they haven't worked for me. If you have any experience or know of a feasible solution, please share it with me. Thank you very much for your help!

You can use Tampermonkey + Custom Script that loops through your friend list and removes based on activity filters.

Stick to small batches (20–30 unfriendings per session) and increase the delay to 7000–9000ms if your account is new or sensitive

Manual way (time consuming but safe)
If you have less than 2,000 friends:

Go to https://www.facebook.com/friends/list

Search by “Recently added” or “Inactive friends”

Press the “…” → Unfriend

To unfriend someone on Facebook, go to their profile, click the 'Friends' button near their cover photo, select 'Unfriend' from the menu, and confirm your choice.

Try this Chrome extension https://chromewebstore.google.com/d...remove/cnppejfpebpoidmfihgplhmfpbhfjbne?hl=en
Install this Chrome extension, open it from the extension menu, and log in with your Gmail ID.
Then again, open it from the extension menu or pin it and open it. Select the tool you want to use. It offers a wide range of tools, so scroll a little and choose Remove inactive Facebook friends, then select the plan (I suggest you try the free plan first). Once select the plan, uncheck "remove all friends" and select the deactivate friends option and click on start. Wait for a while, it will have done its job.
The free version won't allow you to select friends yourself to remove, it will automatically remove them. I haven't tried the paid version yet, therefore I have no idea whether the paid version has that option or not.

You can remove inactive friends using Facebook's built-in Least Inactive feature. This is the safest way, even if you have to do it manually. Avoid using third-party extensions or automated software, as they have a high risk of getting your account locked by Facebook.

methods of influencing the platform from the outside are almost ineffective, I usually unfriend people I don't like by going to each person's personal page and unfriending them

It’s not as easy to delete inactive friends en masse on Facebook as it used to be, as the platform has tightened controls on automated behavior. Extensions or methods that used to work well are now often unreliable and even vulnerable to checkpoints. A safer approach is to manually filter based on actual interactions and remove them gradually, which takes time but reduces risk. If you want to automate, you’ll need to be careful with your implementation — using random delays, a clean browser, and avoiding signs of bot behavior — but even that’s not foolproof.

Currently, Facebook does not have a feature to automatically filter out friends who are no longer using Facebook or do not interact with you.
Therefore, you can do it manually. But it will take a while and sometimes the accuracy is not high, leading to mistakenly canceling friends who have interacted with you.
If you are knowledgeable about information technology, you can use Facebook Friend Activity Scanner to filter out friends who have not interacted with you in the past 1-2-3 months.
In addition, there will be some automatic support tools outside, but you need to be careful when using them so that Facebook does not notice and lock your account.

You need to grant access through BM to control, If you don't have too many inactive friends, it's better to do this manually.
