Thanks for this. Really great resource, bookmarked so I can use it again. I throw my hat in for more posts on CTR, conversion rate, etc.

Great post OP. Just a few questions though,

- Is it better to buy an aged domain? To have an effect on long tails ranking straight away?
- How many articles are there on a site that's earning you $500 a day?
- How long is it before you see money coming into your adsense?

Sorry for asking so many, just seems that I may take this route with my marketing.

Hey OP

Thank You so much for putting a lot of info together. I knew a lot of the things you posted, but some were very new to me.

If you have any time at all, please PM me as I want to have a conversation with you.

Thanks in advance.

Very nice! I agree with quality over quantity thing. The power backlinks I have aren't as strong as the ones you got, but I rarely ever have to use more than 60-70 backlinks to a site for top rankings (medium competition niches). Most of my web 2.0s are aged 1-2 years with unique content being added to them regularly, however I've been using the web 2.0 backlinks just to diversity my anchor and using my stronger domains for the targeted keywords. Do you recommend using lower quality links to create anchor diversification, or do you just mix them randomly to make it look more natural?

Hi crazedspyker,

No, I don't do that SEO.

I'm not into playing the game of Google - I send a few high authority backlinks, a few medium authority backlinks, a few low authority backlinks and I'm ranking for all the keywords. I don't send any web 2.0 backlins to the money site. To put it simple, it's kind of easy how I do the SEO because I'm focusing only on quality. Less is more...

As I get many questions on SEO, I'll probably create a guide on link building and how less is more.

I like this idea :)

have a question ! articles are unique content or just copy/pasted ? ( for a news site )

All that content must cost a fortune...

What would be your seo advice for someone who doesn't have his own blog network?
- payed networks (which have a footprint), web2.0's (which are not that authority) or maybe something else?

Fantastic article OP -thank you!

One thing I see is not really covered a whole lot is Trust Flow. I find it to be a metric often overlooked but hard to obtain and I feel it makes a difference in rankings.

My question is this: Are you suggesting that more long tail articles lead to more domain authority, therefore better trust flow? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept and wondering what specifically can impact and increase trust flow on a website.

Thanks

really great post.. subscribed to the thread to see more posts from Zso.

What are your thoughts on siloing the authority sites? Do you do that for your wordpress installs or not worry about it too much. Ive posted in another thread of a builder I tried starting to mimic siloing in php.

I have many sites and never focus / complete one good site making money. Need to focus and do what your doing. The htaccess tricks are pretty neat. I will be adding that to all my bigger sites at least for now.

Hi creditandgolfse,

I don't lose my time siloing the sites. I didn't know about silo back in my first days of SEO and it's obviously I didn't create any silo site... but with the SEO I did it ranked. So I couldn't care less if it's silo or not as long as it ranks for the keywords I want, brings the traffic and the money.

Can you post something about linkbuilding? Still waiting for that because I want to do max for my websites. Thank you

Thank you for the excellent post.

I have a very simple question - Lets pretend that you don't have access to high PR sites... where do you get the high-med authority backlinks from?

WOW! Such a good post!

One question:
What is your approximate investment and after how many time you expect return of investment?
How much are you spending on content and how much on SEO and social promotion?
Do you use cheap $1 for 100 words writers from east, or you pay more for it?

Because I have many sites, I will be able to risk one and show it but not on a public forum. I've been asked many times for my sites, If I see you are qualified to check it then you will have it.

May I see it please. Send me PM.

Excellent man. Would love to see how you would go about your SEO.

+rep and +thanks x2 haha

Such a good post..I've got some questions but don't even know where to start haha

I'd love if you could pm me a site as well!

Hi meCODEX,

All articles are unique. Google doesn't like duplicate content.

All that content must cost a fortune...

You'll have to find yourself a source to get these backlinks...

I want to know how long it takes for you to start seeing some decent traffic and start earning like 10$ per day? And I'd like to see a sample of your website, if possible. Thanks
