I have a website where most of the traffic is mobile traffic.
And then when a user clicks on an Amazon affiliate link, it opens in a webview or mobile browser.
Generally, nobody really buys (click on buy) anything on the mobile browser. So they come back to the installed Amazon android app and search the product there and buy from the app.
I lose my commission because my affiliate cookie is in the browser.
How do I tackle this?
More than 70% of my traffic is from mobile (instagram webview).
Not being able to convert even after getting clicks is frustrating.
Any help will be appreciated.
I am a programmer. So if you have a solution which involves writing an API/redirector/web app, I can build it.
Thanks
