How to create a own proxy with Raspberry Pi?

Hello.

I tested already some proxys, but all of them are bad or too expensive.
So now I want to setup my own proxy with my Raspberry Pi 3.

The problem is, that I don't know how. I found some tutorials but all of them are local proxys for blocking ads, ....
Anyone know how to create a own proxy? I need to connect from my VPS to my home proxy.
Maybe someone use this method too.

just google there are many tutorials already on how to setup squid, also for raspberry pi
 
Don't use Squid 'coz it's too complicated. I would prefer tinyproxy or something.
 
Setup debian 5 or 6 minimal and then setup 3proxy. Squidproxy needs more resources. I run 3 proxy on small vps with only 64mb ram. Go to google/github and search for 3proxy setup script. This will install and configure proxy without you to manually install it.
 
Once you open squid.conf you wish to cut your veins!
I prefer something much more simple.
 
well looks like you need to learn linux administration, then it will be easy.
 
You also need to learn how to open and forward the ports you're trying to use in your router. Lord help you if you're an AT&T Uverse customer, those gateways are awful.
