How to corrupt a video (like the one in the example)

Hi,
I’ve noticed a little Instagram hack lately that involves intentionally corrupting a video. Here is a perfect example below (the entire account posts nothing but this):


When I download one of the Reels to my computer, the same thing happens: the file glitches like crazy. I’d like to find a way to actually corrupt a video (and not just freeze a single frame; in the example, you can clearly see that the video doesn't restart and actually crashes).

Do you have any leads on how to achieve this?

why did you left IG ? it's a volontary glitche
The first time I saw this was on a car-related account, and it wasn't intentional (it was just in a video); however, very recently I've noticed that accounts like the one in the example above are having fun replicating it.
 
what is the point of that? what will you earn from it?
 
Interesting! I’ve seen some weird Instagram formats like this—curious to see how the “corrupted” video trick works.

I’ve been working for several days trying to figure out this freeze. I’ve discovered a few things, but I still don’t have the full formula. If anyone has it or wants to exchange information with me to figure out this hack contact me
 
i have new things about the glitch :

The file size is extremely small. The videos are barely 200 KB.

They glitch differently depending on the playback interface. On Instagram, the video starts glitching after about 2 seconds, whereas if I send the video on Telegram (the version downloaded from Instagram), it just loops 2 or 3 frames repeatedly. On VLC (for watching videos), it simply crashes and displays a single frame.
