    Hi guys.

I bought an expired domain and I did not know that it is a local domain. I discovered it just when I ranked a KW on TOP 3.

When I did a search in another cities, my domain did not appear on google at all. Only appear in my city.

I saw the backlinks on ahrefs and I saw that this domain was owned by a band and some sites was tagged this domain on google maps. I disavowed these sites in the webmasters, but 2 months later nothing happened.

So, now I would like to know if there's someway to revert a local seo.

    Thanks.

little confused. what made it a local domain? do the anchors have a certain city in it? did the historic content in wayback have a local address? did you not check these things when you purchased the domain? if you are ranking why are you disavowing links? enjoy this success and expand on it. why did it rank in your city? or perhaps it is ranking just for you (personalized results?)

Make city specific pages to rank in those cities. Go for long tails if you want low competition and fast results. hope that helps but for me a lot of questions are unanswered.
