If you manage multiple accounts, using proxies is necessary, actually, it’s a must if you want to avoid account suspensions. Here are some tips I’ve gathered about picking the right proxy for different sites that you might find helpful.
1. Using clean proxies
A clean proxy means it’s not blacklisted by the website or platform. To check proxy quality, you can revisit my older threads. Also, a proxy blacklisted on Site A might still work fine on Site B. For example, if a proxy is blacklisted on Facebook, you can still use it to run TikTok accounts.
2. Using residential proxies
Compared to datacenter proxies, residential proxies are more trusted because they come from real home IPs, so they look more like genuine users. Also, residential proxies are harder for websites to detect as proxies than datacenter ones.
3. Using dedicated proxies instead of shared IPs
The fewer people using an IP, the better. Shared IPs used by many people are harder to control and more likely to get blocked due to others’ actions.
4. Using static IPs and rotating IPs
If you’re creating accounts, rotating IPs can be okay. But for maintaining accounts, static IPs are better because frequent IP changes can raise suspicion. You can also combine static and rotating IPs to maintain accounts like this:
Use a static proxy continuously for a few days at first, then switch to rotating proxies for 1-2 days. This behavior is similar to a real user logging in mostly from a fixed home IP, but occasionally using mobile 3G/4G outside. This makes your activity look natural to websites.
