Hey Everyone!

I have a single page website, I have optimized its on-page and its been around 7 days the website is not getting indexed on google.

Proper Meta Update - Check
Canonical - Check
all redirections like 404, www and non-www - check
SSL certificate - Check
Decent amount of unique content - Check

How I would come to know that what's the real issue where I am lacking in this process?

How do I get my website indexed?

Search for it in google name or url if it doesn’t show means it’s gone

however if it’s a new Website then wait for few days it takes quite a while for google to show new site

Search by site: sitename.com
You can also check if there is munual panalty from google analytics

I think you can check that in Google Search Console under security and manual actions, see below

If you already submit the site in google search console, You can search your site URL in Google (site:websitename.com) once not shown the results it means the site has not Indexed, So try to build the backlinks from quality sites, and share the links into social media platforms, Surely site indexed on search engines soon.

There could be 3 reasons - your site not indexed, partly indexed or had a penalty.
  • You should check if any pages are indexed at all, by searching for "site:example.com"
  • If the GSC shows - "we are processing your data," then you can't do much except wait for it to index. You may try submitting sitemap, requesting to crawl your page etc.
  • You should also check if there are any manual penalties stopping the site from appearing in search results.

try sending some backlinks to your site, that usually helps to get it indexed.

I checked, Google was showing the result from the past.

No. Website isn't new. and till last week there was not SEO implementation on the website. Even It's GSC wasn't created.

If it is the same website as in your profile, then it indexed. Probably it is showing old meta in google search because it is not crawled again after you updated them. Give it some time

If your website new then wait few days for ranking or index.
