How to check if a backlink is indexed by Google or not?

Do I check on google search using operator site:(url) ?

Is this the only way to check?

Check the last time Google crawled the page. If it has been updated to include the link, then it has been indexed.
 
1- From Your Search Console
2- Search for backlink page in google using exact title or url directly, check the cached version and see if it has the link in it.
 
site:link helps. If its on google it show in search.
 
site:yoururl this is the dork , put the the site and check the same url is coming over the searches , if coming then its indexed !
 
Search your website in google. If its showing your website into google it means its indexed.
 
Unfortunately it's not just as simple as using site:hxxps://yourbacklinkurl.com
When writing my own indexing checker a while ago I came across multiple backlinks that were in Google's index but wouldn't show up using the site: operator (which we know will only show a sample of results anyway)
Some would only show up when using the cache:hxxps://yourbacklinkurl.com operator
Some would only show up when just searching for the exact url with no operators or modifiers

If you're only using site: to check your backlink indexation you may well be missing out on some
 
Here are a few tips
  • Chrome's "SEO meta 1 click" extension lets you check the indexing status of your backlinks
  • Could you check the HTML source for the robot?
  • Your newly created backlink should be pinged.
  • Then wait for the index.
 
Just check simply that site:yourURL in google search box
 
Enter the URL of the page the link is coming from into Google, with the “site:” first and search if you see a result the page will have been indexed by Google.

Don't just use site:<linkofbacklink>

In google, type in your domain. Check if the backlink that has your domain is indexed. If it doesn't, try to find "other keyword" that is in that backlink to see If the page is indexed.
