How to Build Your OWN PBN - A Quick Guide for Newbies

I bought an expired domain that has been redirected in the past to the owner's new website.
I read somewhere in the forum as long as they are redirected to a legit website, I can still buy the domain.
But when I typed the expired domain URL into opensiteexplorer , it directed me to the new website.
Did I make a mistake of buying this domain? Can I still used this domain as money site?

It will not update to your website until Google and all the public crawlers re find and discover the domain.

Although, I try to stay away from previously redirected websites. You tend to lose a lot of link juice AND it looks suspicious.

Great guide! Im not too picky on the TF/CF of the domains, as long as the domain is relevant to my niche, I think that carries a lot of weight.

I only have a lot of experience with GoDaddy out of those, and I change the Who Is after. The admin info stays the same so I still get emails for the domains but Who Is still shows unique details. You should not need new accounts. I used to do that and you can get your domains taken that way. Use your real account and you will be fine.

I am encountering problems when try to use real name in admin info (in godaddy account) and then change the whois details or use privacy protection after.
Right in the middle of changing to fake names, the whois info published already reveal my real name and real address. The same apply to namejet and snapname.
Could you please tell me how you do the whole process? Thanks.

Sign into your Fo Daddy Account
Go to Domain Management
Check the box for the domain(s) (Under 6 Domains at a time) you wish to change
Click the 'Contact' option which may be in the additional features.

You can edit all the contact details. Billing (I think it is billing) should stay the same. The rest you change. It takes Who Is a bit to update (24 Hours Normally) so just wait it out and double check.

You can change the details for every domain under 'Account Settings' but I do not advise that.

I did do what you say. But what I mean is between the changes, there will be 24 hours
that the whois info of the domains is my real name and address if I don't change my default account setting.

Gotcha.

You need to either register it with Who Is enabled or just wait it out. You can create accounts for each domain, but, it can lead to problems down the line.

So how do you do it normally? Because you said you dont change account settings?

I can't think of any other way to concealed my real name other then
changing my account setting for Snapname, Namejet or Godaddy every time before
going to an auction.

But I figure it might raise a big red flag to them.

It helps that I do not use auctions. If you are set on using auctions, create a dummy accounbt or an LLC to buy them with.

Personally I scrape them and pump them up. Better and cheaper than what I find for auction, plus far easier.

I'm so jealous of you. :dragon5:

I'm just not good at scraping. All the domains I scraped are just junk.

I'm really curious how do people do the process smoothly buying domain names
using fake name and stuffs.
Most of the people build PBNs have at least 10 sites and some have probably hundreds
and to do it perfectly must be really hard.

Scraping is a learned skill you just need to get good at.

And it is not always great. I just got an email with someone asking for their old domain back....

EDIT:

To answer some of the PM's and emails I have been getting:

1. "Can I use my PBN on more than one money site?"

Let me give a full and honest answer to this. Yes.

The problem is you need to do a few things to protect your domains:

1. Who Is protection and the domains you are using the PBN links on.
2. Make sure the link fits into the PBN sites theme
3. Do not link out to any TWO sites from the same network more than once.

For question three this mean:

You have a twenty site PBN. You have all twenty sites pointing to domain A. You want to rank domain B now. You can link out to domain B only ONCE with the previous network. Any more than that, you have a footprint.

The same can be said of BUYING PBN posts. Never use the same network for more than one site. Odds are you will get SLAPPED if you create such an obvious pattern.

2. "Can I pay you to set up my network?"

No. No. And No.

I have given two reviews to two different 'Self Made' PBN domain services.

One was a bit ago by "Burnet4congress" and in my review I mentioned the seller left very few footprints. The sites were fairly plain and let something to be desired. BUT, the domains were good, seller was completely honest and TAT was quick. Seller had strict domain requirements and handles issues quickly. Additionally, the report was fantastic. Simple, had everything you need on one page, and included a lot of instructions on how to make your site look more natural. Basic tips and an explanation for how to maintain a network. The seller also included a LOT of social signals which helps ensure the domains are indexed.

The other was by seller 'Rankspire' who I have suggested to people in the past for the services quality. Rankspire gives a huge report which includes a lot of information I personally think you do not need. The domains were mostly registered in India but EVERY domain was on a unique account which is a lot more work but is FAR better. The domains were not screened as well but the sites looked a lot better. Premium themes, logos, detailed widgets added. All in all these PBN domains looked more like 'real sites.' The seller also includes two pieces of content and quite a few options to make a site your own. The biggest downside is I think the report was too long and the TAT was quite a bit long.

Both of these sellers provide an EXCELLENT job to create a network. I am currently building my massive network but in the future I will be using both again. So, I highly recommend both. I never bought another sellers PBN building service because after looking at metrics and samples, I was never impressed. These two did mostly everything right.

3. "Can I buy domains from you?"

Again, no. I can't sell outside a BST. I am launching a BST but until it gets approved I will not sell you anything. Plus, what I am going to sell is not exactly a basic PBN domain. You are better off using one of the many good sellers who offer domains.

I can personally recommend:

SEO Lover
accelerator_DD

Both sellers are great and offer good domains plus are honest.

Hopefully that clears a lot of confusion up and saves me from answering PMs.

Telling people to host domains at dollarseohosting is like asking Obama to take part in gun lovers parade. Most stupid idea ever...

Giving this a free bump :)

The content and responses being shared on here by other members (and lightningblitz) add so much more value to the actual thread itself. No one can complain anymore that PBNs are "impossible" to create for beginners. I could easily see people rewriting all the stuff shared in this thread and selling it for $39 a pop (maybe someone's doing it already, lol).

I should have kept my information and had a WFO. That's it. I am done sharing. The real money is selling my threads as EBooks.

Thank you for the idea Leith.

Really i want to appreciate that. becz its a good guide for the newbie. Keep it up dude.

I personally don't have much experience with PBNs. All I was taught and did before: find good PA/DA domain with low MOZ spam score, recover its content from webarchive, wait for indexing and place a link from its homepage to your money site. I can see now how it was far from the real PBN value. Thanks OP and everyone contributing to this thread. Btw, I use Netpeak Checker for scraping. It's a free tool and works very well.

Just realized that one important piece of this great thread is still a little bit unclear for me.

lightningblitz, could you please elaborate a bit this really important statement:
"I also look for the historical back link profile and snap shots in way back machine for 301 redirects which match up with an increase of links which would indicate a SEO using a 301 to filter spam."

I'm totally lost here.

Thanks!

Sure.

I look for periods in Wayback that coincide with Ahrefs or Majestic historical link trends. For example, if the site had content in 2012 and it was a one page site with an affiliate link and was taken down in three months, I look for links that match that period.

So, for example, if I found 1,000 exact match anchors which were built while the one pager was up, I know a SEO was working on the site.

That is a clear sign of a penalty in my experience.

Quality guide along with the comments posted by Leith and others. Was looking for some information about starting up PBN's.

Thank you.

Leith and fc - dh really took this thread to the next level for me. I get to sit back and learn a thing or two.
