How to build a eCommerce site and which platform to use ?

I want provide services like presentation designing, logo, createspace formatting and may other. For that i will need to build a website, but i dont have a single clue on how to build. I know about wordpress, but people are saying it is only for blogging not for an eCommerce site building. PLease help me how can i start building such site. And also which platform to choose wordpress or sites like xSitePro ??

for your purpose wordpress will work just fine!

however it wont be counted as ecommerce unless you have shopping carts and additional related stuff..


wordpress is an diversified platform, though it started as a blogging one , it now pretty supports almost everything!

Just install Woocommerce wich is a Wordpress plugin.
