I would say write less often, Write more quality and spend more time on your articles to make it super engaging. More often isn't better.

Also, really depends on your niche. You can try native ads if its a blog. But depends on your budget too.
 
Post fresh and unique content on your site.... SEO, SMO and guest posting are the best ways to get traffic to your site. After that create quality backlinks for your content.

Good and enjoyable content.
Social share button on atricles.
Share on Social media.
On page SEO (it is slow).
Boost your alexa ratings.
Paid traffic (it is expensive sometimes).

if your blog is not adult oriented you can try google seo and wait for about 3 to 4 months for ranking, if your trying to rank an adult blog better yet stay away from google, you won't stand a chance to the big boys adult company that pays thousand of dollars for seo, or use long tail keywords or better yet go social media like twitter, stumble upon, tumblr etc. :)
 
Again I found something that is clearly not specific... Bringing traffic???? Lots of ways are there to follow. Why don't people have a look around forum before posting such questions??? Sorry to be rude but simply I don't think that BHW for such questions....
 
Thankx guys for sharing you thoughts.I learn a lot from you guys.Specially content is quite new to me.
 
One quick way is to do a web 2.0 profile creation over 50 different channels and make sure you have high quality content for each web 2.0 you will start getting bit results over a month.

Do update these 50 profiles over a time with new content by next 4 weeks and then link wheel each of them. This will add a little bit link juice to your blog and it will start getting organic traffic with impressions in searches as well.
