how to avoid following someone twice on instagram

I'm following a lot of people a day, and want to unfollow the people who are not following back. But I do not want to risk following the twice.

Does anyone have suggestion what to do?

It cant be done manually. But if you are following from an account's followers, it can be easily avoided as followers are in chronological order
