I am new to BHW and want to promote my services without getting banned What are the main rules and best practices to follow How do experienced users create threads that attract clients while staying within forum guidelines and avoiding negative feedback

You'll initially need the Jr VIP account upgrade, after that you'll be able to post in the marketplace section and promote your business there.
 
The golden rule on BHW is do not sell in the transition or discussion threads. If you try to pitch your services in a regular thread, youll get banned or warned very quickly.
 
I got warning while i was selling from my DM. Not allowed to sell from DM also.
