I was wondering if anyone of you could give me some good advice that'll help when it comes to attracting new clients.

We all know how irritating and disappointing it is when a client rejects your offer. That's why I'm looking for help from people who have tried and succeeded.

Anything helpful is very much appreciated!

Rejection is part of the game. Its a numbers game and how professional you can be in your presentation. Offline and online selling is similar, you will convert higher is your presentation (landing page ) is higher quality clean and clear.

Look up the straight line persuasion system by Jordon belfort its what you need if you want to know how to close sales.

To put it in a few lines though you have to get your product or service perfected, you have to find and qualify your leads then you have to convince them a) they NEED your product b) you are a nice guy c) you are an authority in your niche and d) you can help them get what they want.

You must be pursued chase each client.

You will not be disappointed if your product quality.

And the client is not at the top of the well disappoint.

The question is what are you selling?

What exactly is your product? What is your USP compared to competitors? What are your competitors doing to attract clients? What is your business branding like?

These questions if answered can get your mind rolling in the right direction mate.

Ok I see, thanks. Btw I'm a web designer.

If you are in the USA check with your local library. Many of them will allow you access to a system called ReferenceUSA (or another similar database). Focus on one specific type of business for a time (something like AC repair companies). Isolate all the AC repair companies in a geographical area and it will provide you mailing addresses and contact info. Mail them a nice offer letter containing links to example websites you have created. Put them into a spreadsheet for follow up and 3 months later follow up with a second letter with a slightly discounted offer. If you receive nothing then move on. Its all a numbers game.

Thanks for the tip! Got me thinking of other methods as well :D

No problem- I'm all ears if you care to share your other method ideas :)
You've probably heard it before but I was thinking of searching up websites that were created on webhosters (Yahoo webhoster for example).
If the websites look old I could send the owner an email and see if they would be interested.

I recommend checking out the offline money making articles. TONS of gems there, especially about leveraging direct mail effectively. And other tactics like how to steal your competitor's clients.

Its a lot about giving information and providing value upfront. Of course this is not applicable to any service business, but if it is in your case (content marketing!) you should make use of it. Whether its a blog, Facebook, YouTube or whatever. Its pretty hard to convert cold traffic when it comes to paid services because people buy you as a person.
