How to: Affiliate Marketing!

Hello all,

My employer assigned me a task to do affiliate marketing for her. She already have a website for this purpose. I have never even thought of this before.
Can anyone please guide me through this? Or give me some tips to start working on it.
I am really stuck and dont know from where and how to start it, plz help!

There's a bunch of guides on how to get started.
Start searching the forums or google or blogs.
Shoemoney and Volk have some good stuff.

Doesn't make any sense that your employer would assign you to do something you know nothing about. Never-the-less, you will have some learning to do. As mentioned above, there are some guides, techniques and software throughout this forum. I'm sure you will find something.

Exactly! you are right. She wants to assign my current project and affiliate marketing together to only one person. Basically I am struggling to save my job, buddy.

if you understand the concept of affiliate marketing, identify your niche and look for your competitors, those are going to be your bestfriends till you know what you're doing.

See something your competitor is doing and you know nothing about? good place to start reading.

other big hint is your cold calling/networking ability.
