How to add video (.wmv or .mp4) into wordpress theme page

Hello,

I'm using wordpress theme called Inspire by WooTheme.

When you want to add like youtube video to the page, it's simple as adding embed code into it.

However I have PLR package here which has .wmv (single file) or
mp4 version of video which has several files like mp4, jscript, xml, shockwave flash object, etc...

How do I add these videos into the pages?

I believe you need to format the video as httpv://

There is a plugin that you can get that will aid you but I do not
remember the name.

I have many Wordpress sites and I also used embebbed Youtube videos before. One day I just got bored on the look and feel of the player and wanted to have a cooler one which could also play videos from any url (also videos from my own site).

I can't give you any links but you could take a look at a website called Codecanyon. There you should make a search with a keyword "Video player" and you will see a list of html based video players. You can easily embed them into your existing site either by pasting the code using the Editor on you Wordpress dashboard or by pasting it to an existing page on your WP page editor.
