How soon do you see results from your BackLinks?

It takes about one month for links to even index and ranks on Google, and for them to start having an impact on SERP it depends on sites you are getting backlinks from, it can take from one month to even a couple of them.

I would say maybe to wait for at least two to three weeks for indexing to be finished, and then you can proceed with making backlinks campaigns.
 
Depending on the link type, as soon as it's indexed you can see the changes starting from a week.

Once the backlinks index on google which should be within a month if they're good quality, check backlinks on screaming frog regularly to see if they've been added.

Between 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Sometimes it takes a little longer.

The number of the links on the site/page prior to the new ones also matter.
 
If you have a large site is it bad to make backlinks to pages google never discovered yet?

And should we use generic anchor text to be safe?

so the consensus is about 3-4 weeks? anybody else agree with this timeline for influence in SERP on new backlinks?
 
If the link is from a very reputed site like a government domain, result will be very fast.

this would be fantastic. you would really have to convince google that its a very legitimate link to avoid a time-delayed guaging process. probably if they are from gov or edu which another member mentioned would greatly help in instant influence.

thanks, this seems to coincide with what other's are saying. there appears to be some kind of processing/analyzing delay in new links before their value are credited to us.

It seems that each link has a small to medium effect initially, but that effect increases over time. If you add a lot of links at once, you're not only going to see faster results, you're going to see much bigger results over time.
