On Average how much time to actually influence ranking?

Homepage links with traffic(both money site and backlink) give instant results !!
 
SEO usually takes atleast three month, but it may take longer, as it depends on many factors. New links don't affect SERP rankings immediately, making it difficult to determine how an individual link affects by search engine ranking.
 
Depends on the Search volume, keyword difficulty and quality of work and also Target Country.

It doesn't take long but at the same time I don't think it's possible to be specific there.
For example, I tested the effect of d0follow reddit links and I didn't even need to wait a week, within a few days I had positive movement (takes less then 24 hours to index reddit links).
On top of it, let's say you build tier 2 links, so it will take time for google to re-calculate the link juice.
 
PS: sorry, I forgot to mention something important to my post (and can't edit it now).
I believe there's some sort of a random effect as sometimes when I get good links my rankings actually go down and then recover stronger than before.
 
For new sites, it takes sometime but for old sites with some established ranking they start jumping within few weeks to a month.
 
Depending on the quality of links, several weeks to a month
May take even longer for sites in the sandbox
 
Lately I see new links being indexed within 1-2 weeks.
And some links have not seen in the index for a month(
Sad. I wish google would stop strangling us.
 
No timeframe actually, it depends on backlink quality, usually we need to wait 4 weeks atleast of any serp movements, we need to keep link building to maintain top/retain the position, that is the fact
 
Google can take around 10 weeks to index a backlink. and there are number of factors influence how quickly Google indexes and ranks backlinks.
 
As @Leon jamesh said its all about the quality of the backlinks you are getting. Always don't expect big results from less efforts.

I agree with this, and I assume it's intentional by Google. They don't want SEO guys to be able to easily tell which of several backlinks they created are having a positive effect on a site's rankings. If you add a backlink, and two days later your site moves up in rankings, you'd know it's "Jackpot!" and that you've found a sure way to influence rankings. Not good from Google's point of view.

 
backlinks are a facade. I feel lik ethe only wya they work is when u spend like 10$k lol
 
Depends on the web property and the links being built.
One of the faster outcomes is about 10 days to see great movement.
Harder keywords within the top 10 can take longer for sure.
