How safe PBNs are?

Guys, how safe PBN are?
Do you have any experience in being penalized by google for using them?

I have bought 20 PBN link from one seller from this forum. This seller has quite an old thread (3 years old, more than 20 pages) and decent reviews.

The links were delivered, after some time I found them via backlink report in google search consoles.

I visited these blogs. They all have a horrible design, it is immediately obvious that this is a PBN blog. The design was from 1999 or so, some of these blogs even did not have HTTPS. These blogs are just a random mess of articles without any pics.

Is it a normal situation? Should it be that way? I didn't try buying PBN links from another seller yet.

I don't want to name the seller, because I don't want any problems with my backlinks after that.

Report it to mods If the service is not as advertised. i am sure mods can help in someway

Hi Marx, honestly PBNs could be GOLD for your site, but it really depends on the quality AND you would have to TRUST the seller.
Dealing with bad PBN setups could cause you troubles more than anything good... there's also quality PBN services but they also cost more and you could understand why... it's not easy to build and manage a high quality PBN network.

I've bought some links from a few providers and also saw horrible things such as you mention but what was really bad for me, they were all on the SAME shared IP which is like, dude are you serious? so he ended up removing all of 'em per my request.

Regard panelized - I've never been panelized by using PBN's but I'm also very safe and very careful with my sites I suggest you do the same. good luck!

Try to get full list of PBN links through GSC. Keep tracking them. If anything deindex ask seller to remove the posts.

PBNs are only safe if they are really private, so only you get links from the sites. otherwise if links are sold to many people its not a real PBN, but a link farm and that can get you into trouble if google detects it.

You will not get penalized in 20 links. I also bought some pbn links from one seller here and they were all like link farms so I don't recommend buying those links . Saw some serp movements but lost all ranking for target kws
